Finding all this out makes her obsession with the Bow of Ra understandable. Instead of annoying, instead of her seeming to harp at everyone, her seeking the Bow seems honorable, and selfless.
It doesn't help that I don't really like Artemis, but I found her backstory surprisingly compelling. Color me surprised. Lobdell is just knocking it out of the park and he usually doesn't for me, so I'm very happy with this series.
This was a far more touching issue than I expected, and more than I expected from this author. I'm really into Jason Todd lately, and this just did it for me. I, unsurprisingly, tend to like issue that really focus on him, and this did. And that last scene!
