I haven't picked up a DC collection in ages -- and longer for a single issue. The whole New 52 idea both intrigued and annoyed me, and I just didn't want to invest the time. But I saw this on the shelf at the library the other day, and figured, why not? It was the Wolfman/Pérez run of The New Teen T...

I gave it three issues. It got worse, then didn't get better, so I'm going to say not any further Red Hood series unless I know the writer. Goodbye and good riddance. I was trying to clear out my Kindle queue, and wasn't feeling it so I've moved onto my Comixology queue.

Apparently the only scary thing France has going for it is mimes. Ugh. Yeah, this series gets worse with the second issue.

But it's definitely not one of my favorite comic book series. It's got a plot, it's got one character that I like, but not as I enjoy him the most. It's just kinda... flat. Well, I bought two and three on sale, so i feel committed now.

Fabulous art, fabulous characters, and a great villain who looks to be set for the next volume. It's yet another New 52 volume and lineup that I'm really in love with. Knocking off one star, because the Teen Titan show has Cybrog and this had... no Cyborg. Cyborg was one of the reasons I took ...

Theme of brain over brawn done before, but also used well here. Such a shame that the plotting and structure is all over the place. Pointless inclusion of Diana and Orion.
