The ending - but more specifically the "part leading up to the ending" is just Swwwwooons. Much of it is predictable (Gladdie, Taryn) but the spin McCafferty gives it is so so good. Jessica is immature yet insightful, wise and yet not, and everything Mac says about her in her rec is exactly true. I ...

3.5/5I’ll be the first to admit that Jessica Darling’s whining was getting to me. And I’ll also be the first to admit that I didn’t think I was going to like Second Helpings. I mean, really, there’s very little new here. Mostly, she’s still in dire need of perspective and she’s also not the only one...

Book 2 in the Jessica Darling series and I think I inhaled this book faster than I did the first book. In fact, I know I did because I read this book in one sitting. This book starts with Jessica getting ready to go away to summer camp where she is going to drown herself in activities in an effort t...

After a gazillion squeals and shrieks, I am very happy with this book. It ended just like I wanted it to. No, it was even better. It was so good I am afraid of reading the next three in fear that it gets shitty. Cause this one was so awesome.

Have to admit, I think I liked this better than the first book of the series - Jessica Darling is starting to grow on me. I read this in one night (I just couldn't sleep...ugh). Anyhow, I enjoyed it for what it is...something light and silly to read. :)

I just love this book! Couldn't stop reading it and it continues the story of Jessica and Marcus.
