Lisa Kleypas, where have you been all my life? Holy fucking shit, I love this series. The series follows four girls (each book telling the story of one) who, for whatever reason, are considered unmarryable. In this novel, the girl is gorgeous and of noble blood, but she has no dowry, so no one has ...

Reread for the however-manyeth time and still really enjoyed it. Even got into it, and had trouble putting it down, at a time when I'm struggling to get into anything.

Buddy read with Ange, Sarah, Maru and Aure"[...]I’m trying to be demure—although I should probably feel guilty for the deception.”“All women do that during courtship—and men, too, for that matter,” Lillian said prosaically. “We try to conceal our defects and say the things we think the other one wan...

I'll give 4 Stars..It's too much in my opinion, but maybe it's because Nalini Singh ruined all other books for me. At least for the moment. In some places it was really rather hilarious to read about things they've feared and how prudent they were. But most of the time I was waiting for something int...
