I love the Dark Hunter series. That being said, I wanted to like this one more than I did. At some points, I really considered giving it 5 stars. A lot happened in this story and I loved seeing another side of Valerius. Of course, if you've been paying attention, none of it seems all that surprising...

It's funny.. After having read a book in the Dark-Hunter series, it always takes me quite a while to pick up the next one in the series.. Why I dont know, because I always end up loving them.. The beginning of this book was really slow, and a bit goofy, and I didn't like it much at first. It really picked up, and gave a lot of explanations for the other books, and likely for future books as well! Great read :)
