After the first knife-fight scene it does not appear to be to my liking. Hard for me to get my head around the comparisons to the almighty Cormac. Some people want to believe anything. But McCarthy is god.

Wow,am I glad finishing this book. Reading it has been a burden that I couldn't let go. Each time I put it down I feel like I don't want to pick it up again, yet each time I have spare time this is the reading I reached for.

I don't quite get all the raves about this book. I know the main characters are supposed to be flat out nasty, but I had a hard time with the secondary characters, I neither cared nor could I easily follow who was who. I bailed around page 100.
