The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. As a Luxen, an alien life form on Earth, human girls are…well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane. Dangerous. Tempting. Undeniable.Bethany can’t deny the immediate connection...

I would love to see more novellas of this length. Too often, I feel like the prequel novellas or bridge novellas between books in series are not fully developed. This was my first intro to Jennifer L. Armentrout's books, but I plan on reading the rest of the series immediately.

Is it … um .. . normal to sniffle whilst trying to write a review? Dayam! I’m so sad. ( People, do not be fooled by the light hearted tone of this book. Don’t even let your guard down when Dawson’s TOTAL ADORABILITY turns you to mush. Because something bad is coming. Oh, hell yes. Even reading Obsi...

This one was focused on Dawson's relationship with Beth. It was okay. Nothing really wowing to add to the series for me though...

It was nice to read a bit of a background story about the Lux and what really happened to Dawson and Bethany.Getting to know Bethany and Dawson was adorable, they were such a cute couple. Their fate is more than unfortunate, it is aa tragic love story after all. It is more understandable now why Dae...

Re-read for Stuck in Books Lux Read-a-thon. Still love this novella. It opens our eyes to the possibility that there's more going on than what we think from reading Obsidian. We also get better insight to Damon & why he is the way he is in Obsidian & Onyx. I really like Dawson & Beth and I'm anxious...

I liked this one. It was a decent prequel leading us into the world of Luxens and giving us insight to why Daemon is so closed off and cruel to Kat in Obsidian. Dawson as the leading man in Shadows was awesome. I had no idea how much fire he held in him being the good brother and all and Beths was a...

This is a prequel to the LUX series and give you some insight into Daemon and his "dislike" of humans. I recommend reading this after the 1st or 2nd book on the Lux series. While not required this is a short story and is still well developed it will feel more complete when you have read the others ...

Wow! I just read this book last night, so I'm still a bit shocked by it. I wasn't expecting that. I've had the Lux series on my TBR pile for a while now, but last night, after seeing the amazing cover for Origins I decided to start reading the series right away. It was also the first book I read by ...

I finally got my hands on a copy of this! It was strange reading it right after finishing [b:Obsession|14060046|Obsession|Jennifer L. Armentrout|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1368003139s/14060046.jpg|19696664], because it took a minute for me to get back into "Arum are bad!" mode. Anyway, now I have ...
