I liked the premise. I was a bit disappointed in the writing, but it wasn't horrible. I was, however, very disappointed in the (lack of) ending. Seriously, there's no reason to force a trilogy of novellas with cliffhangers when you can have a decent longer length novel.

I thought the plot was great, but the writing was very sparse. I never felt like I was inhabiting the world, or felt like I cared what happened to the characters all that much.
