Cross-posted on Soapboxing Sheltered is a perfectly lovely nasty piece of work, a "pre-apocalyptic tale" about all the horrible things people do in preparation for the end of it all. I enjoyed Sheltered immensely, but the first collection (which collects 1-5 of the ongoing comic) has an expectant,...
However, in spite of its different take, feels a lot like Lord of the Flies. To some readers, that may be good. For others, not so much. Click the link and check out my full review of this on my blog, The Itinerant Librarian.
A very average run of the mill pre-apocalypse story that does nothing to encourage you to seek out further issues. This is especially so when it already starts going all 'Lord of the Flies' by the third chapter. This may be the fault of Image Comics by just releasing just five chapters for the firs...
