This is one of the few YA books that tackles slut-shaming in a way that wasn't demeaning. Girls who decide to wait, or enjoy sex with many partners, or who only sleep with their boyfriends - the message is that it's all okay. Good luck finding that message in any other YA book.

I love Kody Keplinger. I admite it, I'm obsessed with her novels! I even used The DUFF in a presentation for a group project at university. Shut Out didn't disappoint. It was funny, ok, sometimes it was downright hilarious. Others it made me want to cry or scream at Lissa. She did some really stupid...

Definitivamente, Kody Keplinger se ha convertido en una de mis escritoras favoritas. A pesar de que sus tramas puedan parecer simplonas o incluso ridículas, tratan unos problemas muy reales y con los que me siento más que identificada.

Kody Keplinger's books are light, ridiculously funny, hot and entertaining. And if you're clever enough, you may learn something. Really funny and wonderful book. :)Normally I would avoid books that talk about sex to much. But this book had just the right amount of it. I really liked that it is based on a greek play and I like how that is also said numerous times in the book.

Ridiculously funny, this book is brings about a World War III that neither guy nor girl is ready for - what starts off as a strike for peace, may just turn into the ultimate battle of the sexes...but who will be the first to cave?!

Lissa is really a control freak lol I didn't expect to like this book as much as I did. I was fun and enjoyable the whole time. The only thing I didn't like is maybe Lissa - she wants to control everything all the time, but after a tragedy everyone tries to move on in his own way and this is hers , s...
