If I judged this book by the first 40% or so, I would have given it 2 stars. I'm glad I stuck with it! Sometimes I wanted to reach in and SMACK Vi and Cain. The end of the book is just amazing so I kind of overlooked my issues with the beginning. Check out my full review at http://www.thebookdiscipl...
This wasn't quite your typical 'bad boy/sweet girl' romance. It managed to avoid a lot of the trite traps that most of these type of books fall prey to.
Sexy MMA fighter: Check! Kick-ass heroine: Check! Explosive chemistry: Check! Sexy accent: Check! I love that Francesca can kick ass but still has a vulnerable side that only Tony gets to see.
