Spoiler warning! This is the second book in a trilogy. I will be unable to review the book without possibly giving away spoilers for the first book in the series, Shadow and Bone. Which is obviously the one you should start with if you're interested in this series. After the rather dramatic show-d...

This book immediately sucked me in and I had no desire to put it down. I loved the cast of new characters and I couldn't help but enjoy every scene with Nikolai. He is so full of wit and sarcasm. He quickly became a new favorite character. Alina has grown so much since Shadow and Bone. Her desire ...

Its unusual for me to like the second book in a trilogy as much if not more than the first. But, Leigh Bardugo has managed to capture my heart with the Grisha trilogy. I love the world, the writing and most of all the characters. Not to mention the narrator for this audio series is fantastic. Ali...

The Grisha #2 Alina is a great character, she is so different from other YA female protagonists. She is a young girl and we can see that from time to time, but most of the time she is really mature and makes good decisions. She does not let her feeling chose for her (most of the time at least). An...

It’s always good when the next book in the series is just as good as the original book. Shadow and Bone and Siege and Storm basically have the same pros and cons and also follow similar type of plot points which turned me off. Both books have such a great beginning and end that the main chunk of the...

Hey guys! Hope you’re having a great day! I know I haven’t reviewed in a long time but I’m going to be really busy from now until the end of the school year. But, I will review every single book that I can finish! So . . . this is my review to the second installment in Leigh Bardugo’s The Grisha Tri...

I loved this book and can't wait to see how it all ends. I really feel for Alina. Leigh Bardvgo is a new writer to me. I will gladly read any books that she writes. I really like the world she has built and its easy to be caught up in it.

Siege and Storm picks up shortly after Smoke and Bone ended. Alina and Mal have escaped Ravka and keep making their way as far as they can. But shortly the Darkling tracks them down and drags them into his plan. I did enjoy the book. I think it works better as a book than audiobook as I did with t...
