Short review; middle books are always harder to review because I feel like I've already said everything about it. Mercy and Adam have such wonderful chemistry, and this book really amped up the romance. I really loved the depth of Adam's love for Mercy. The passion was palpable. (quote time!) ...

I was surprised at how thin the main plot was, though I suspect I may have to start altering my expectations for the books in the rest of the series. Seems the relationships between Mercy and Adam and his wolf pack is in reality the main focus of the entire series, while everything else that happens...

3.5 - 4 starsI pretty much liked everything about this one. I would really love to see more from Zee - background, POV, more about his wife and Tad, his son. More about when he first met Mercy. I love Mercy and Zee's relationship. Fey though he is, he cares about her deeply. I enjoy even when they a...

In this fifth installment of Mercy Thompson series, Mercy is happily mated with the alpha of the wolves, Adam Hauptman but her status in the pack is being threatened from the inside. In the previous novels, Mercy had borrowed a book from Phin, a fae whom owned a bookstore and had helped her on vario...

What I like about Patricia Briggs is that she doesn't shy away from confronting grim issues like rape or suicide when mostly books of this particular genre are good for a light reading. This is one of the reasons I stuck to the Mercedes Thompson series irrespective of it being a bit lacklustre and l...

I don't think I'm going to ever get tired of Mercy's world. This book was an excellent addition to an already awesome series. I can't get enough of it! I can't wait to read the next one!

I honestly don't think i could be critical of these books, i love them too much. SO i guess all my reviews on these books happen to be a little biased. Mercy and Adam finally get more serious with their relationship leading to more physical and emotional side of them. But i have to say i don't li...

I like the books that deal with the Fae. This one was well done. The mystery plot was interesting and fast paced. On the personal front, I like the way Mercy's relationship with Adam progressed and the changes in her relationship with Samual.
