I guess if I had read the blurb more closely I would have realized that this book was more of a murder mystery/crime solving story than one about a rocker. Yes, Miki is a rock star, but that is somewhat incidental to the storyline.Miki grew up in foster care and lived through unimaginable horrors. ...

I don't know why I waited so long to read this book! I had read the first book in her other series, and I liked it, but I wasn't blown away, but this, this one blew me away. Miki was just so broken and alone, and I loved how Kane was determined to take care of him, pretty much from the very beginnin...

I liked each of the characters individually, but I never bought the relationship. The violence was way too heavy for my tastes with very descriptive gory scenes. The sexual abuse of Miki, when he was a child, was constantly in the front of my mind making it hard to enjoy the romance angle. I hope ...

A good read with an enjoyable plot and two good MC's. Miki, the emotionally and physically damaged rock star, with a past that is coming back to haunt him, and Kane the sweet Irish cop have a lot of chemistry and kept me reading. The book is told from alternating points of view and has a nice buil...

Solid 3.5 stars...I really didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. I typically don’t like “musician” books and though I do enjoy Rhys Ford’s style, I have to be in the mood for her mystery storylines. They get quiet convoluted at times. (for some reason, I like those kinds of books in the W...

A beautifully written m/m mystery romance set in San Francisco. Miki is a rock star that has had a rough life: abandonment, childhood abuse and then injury and the death of his band members in a car accident. He meets hunky cop Kane, part of a large Irish family and they are irresistibly drawn toget...

Only 3 stars, what was wrong with this book? Oh forget that who cares. More importantly what was right with this book. Let's start with Kane & Miki, Kane is a big old Irish boy, who belongs to a big old Irish family of mostly cops. I adore his mother, she's one of those larger than life women who is...

Anything else I might have said has been eclipsed by the ending. What the fuck. What. The fuck. You goddamn bastard. How the fuck dare you end on such a note?I hate you. I despise you. Shame on you. Shame on your family. Shame on your goddamn cow.Luckily, it seems I made a couple of comments as I was ...
