Ann Brashares did a fantastic job of continuing the story and letting readers who enjoyed the first 4 see where the characters are now. The book was sad, unexpected, but felt like visiting old friends. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the ending.
I read The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants religiously when I was younger, and found myself massively disappointed by the 4th book. I was apprehensive about what this look into their future lives would hold! I think the reason this series and these four girls are so compelling is because we see ...
I've forgotten much more than I would've though. I know that I loved the first books, but unless I somehow missed one, and I don't think I did, I just totally lost track of the characters, and at first, that made it hard to connect with them. But I started slowly remembering and learning their new q...

Carmen's a successful actress on a TV crime show, unhappily engaged to be married, Bridget is constantly moving around with Eric, Lena is teaching the occasional art class and living on her...

No one was happy, but no one seemed to want to take a step towards making a change for the better. At about the 2/3...
I read and enjoyed the earlier Sisterhood books so I was really looking forward to this sequel and catching up with Lena, Bee, Tibby and Carmen as adults, but this book was too sad for me, the flow of the narrative was too choppy, all the internal monologue made me feel like I was in an isolation bo...
