This collection of thoughts or sixty shades of green, is my attempt to raise important environmental concerns specific to India. The issues discussed are however common across the World

I started penning down these thoughts in the form of a blog since July 2014. Over the last 18 months I have posted around 90 articles, mostly, every Sunday morning.

This book has a select set of 60 articles in celebration of my completing 60 years.

The posts on the blog have been well received.

Today there are close to 1200 followers and 30,000+ views.

Several of these followers and friends suggested that I publish a compilation of these articles. Many said that these articles have thoughts and ideas that need to be widely shared. Also that the style of writing is different and refreshingly new to the environmental fraternity. This positive feedback encouraged me to publish this book.

In all the articles, I use humor and satire to discuss various issues on environment using stories. Most of the “stories” I tell are not real… but created from my experiences and suitably crafted for the purpose of sharing.

I hope to continue writing articles on the blog and I may bring out another collection of forty to make to 100 soon!
