I enjoyed this book as a kid, but didn't enjoy it as much as an adult. There were just little things: everyone looks miserable in all the illustrations (camp life wasn't dour all the time), the translation of the kanji on the obelisk is incorrect, one character compares internment to Pearl Harbor.
