I can see the potential. There's a lot going on with a lot of people. I liked Merit but I wasn't crazy about all the side characters. I'm sure this book is just the basic ground work so I'll have to continue with the series

Interesting story and character. I enjoyed the world and how everyone interacted with each. Was surprised in the end. Nice lead into the next book

I went in to this book with low expectations but really found myself enjoying it and having several laugh out loud moments. I loved Merit. This book probably deserves more than the 2.5 I gave it but then again it was somewhere between okay and likeable for me. I am not a fan of vampire books, I have my reasons of course and I am trying to reconnect with vampires because otherwise I am going to be avoiding a lot of books and then eventu...

A fun read thanks to its characters, whose main ones have their perks, what looks like promising skeletons in the closets, and usually enough repartee to make me smile. Also an interesting one, in that it takes into account vampiric politics, and how a newly made vampire has to try and fit in, or ru...

Merit was a pretty contented graduate student whose life changed after one bite. She was attacked by a vampire one evening on her college campus. The vampire was interrupted before he could finish her off, chased away by none other than Ethan Sullivan, the Master vampire of Cadogan House. His only w...
