Another Howard favorite. This is a darker novel and a departure form her others as it is a contemporary suspense, historical and time travel all rolled into one. I tend to think of it more as Grace's story and less as a romance, but it works either way.

3.5 stars, but rounded up to 4 for a fantastic first 2/3 of the novel. This was supposed to be a time-travel romance. But what I actually read was completely unexpected--and so much better! Barring some awkward plot twists towards the end, this was a good read. The description of the book above is ...

2.5 starsI think I went into this with too high expectations. I was in the mood for a nice romance novel and add in the fact that I love time travel novels I was super interested. I’m also a huge fan of anything relating to the Templar’s; however, I was not expecting it to be the focal point of this...

So, realized I never wrote a review for this, my first foray into romance, nearly 15 years ago! And what a doozy it is. Unabridged, audiobook. I think the narrator Natalie Ross did a great job even with the men's voices. Grace is an archeologist scholar who is translating a manuscript for The Foundation when returning from getting her computer repaired, she sees her boss murder her husband and brother. She goes on...

The beginning dragged on a bit, but there were a lot of details that needed to be given in order to understand this book. I wasn't sure if I would like the time travel aspect, but it was done in a way that made sense. Great book! Will go on my keeper's shelf.

Interesting book. The beginning was a bit slow, but I liked how it ended.

The 3 star rating is for the audiobook only and not the book itself. Just not the best narrator imo.

This is one of those book that will keep you at the edge of the seat, wishing for the two leads to meet already, while hoping the author would postpone the meeting for a little while longer.I have to admit at first I didn't particularly like it, though time-travel is one of my favorite genre, but un...
