I only partially read this book - about half way through. The bit I read was actually pretty interesting and I do plan on returning to it one day.

This book is beautiful. I can't explain to you in so many words what is beautiful about it; you either get it, or you don't. This is definitely one of my favourite things I have ever read.

Sophie's World is one of my favourite books of all time. It's a brilliantly original mystery novel with a crash course in philosophy for your educational pleasure! It's brilliant to be able to enjoy a clever story with great characters and also learn a whole load of philosophy :)

I thought this book had a great set up, but then it felt like the author wasn't sure how to end it. I felt let down.

A course on Western philosophy set in the narrative of a young girl's adventure of discovery. Makes difficult philosophical concepts accessible to a wider audience. A worthy read.
