Sourcery by Terry Pratchett is a story of what happens when a stronger wilder form of magic gets reintroduced to the Disc when the world's first sourcerer since the dawn of time is born. The inept wizard Rincewind is recruited, yet again, quite against his will into putting a stop to this new magic ...

I tried to read [b:The Color of Magic|34497|The Color of Magic (Discworld, #1)|Terry Pratchett|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348426385s/34497.jpg|194190] a couple of times and couldn't get into it. Discworld really seemed like something I should like so I finally started with [b:Equal Rites|34507|E...

Loved this one as much as Equal Rites :) So far these two are my favorites .... though there are many more books to go in the series.

While the forth book in Pratchett's Discworld series is still amusing, and very colourful, I found it to be a little duller than the others that I have so far read. Some have suggested that it is because we have Rincewind and the Luggage but no Twoflower, however I didn't really miss Twoflower so I ...

Myths are powerfull. Maybe too much so. And really, who needs sorcerers anyway? Especially if all it takes is **** (not gonna spoil! but it is the greatest weapon Rincewind ever possessed) to take them down? ;)

Great riffs on some traditional fantasy themes, and more about the Luggage. A few repeat characters, but alas a cliffhanger ending, so have the next book handy if you can. Four stars overall and a recommendation. For the longer review, please go here:http://www.epinions.com/review/Sourcery_by_Terry_...

Goes someway to explaining why wizards aren't allowed to have sex - it appears to be far too dangerous for the rest of the world. A sourcerer appears at the gates of the Unseen University and demands to be crowned archchancellor, as he's plainly the most powerful wizard. After a few protestors are, ...

An all-out magical war between sourcery and everyone else is coming, and only Rincewind can bollocks it up. The only thing that kept me from affording this the higest honors is that the coming Apocralypse is so similar to the coming Apocalypse in my beloved Good Omens.Purchased (Kindle) copy

I think I have hit the wall with Terry Pratchett. Perhaps I will try this one again later....
