I don't typically read short stories but this one was helpful to find out WTF was going on with the Spartan boy. But why is there a different model on this cover? Do.not.like.

I liked the focus on Logan here. I've been quite curious about what goes on in his mind, as he sometimes seems something of an enigma. Fleshing him out a bit was a smart move on Estep's part. Nice seque between books.

Since this is a novella, I'll keep this short and sweet. I loved seeing things from Logan's point of view and that this was still a new story, with only vaguely overlapping scenes, not the exact same plot via a new perspective. Logan is everything we thought he'd be and more. That dreaded cliffha...

This was a very short little novella from Logan's point of view. I really like Logan, I mean who doesn't?! But I have to say I was a little disappointed that we didn't get more insight to how he was feeling about Gwen and what was going to happen after he went all reaper on her. There was a lot of h...

3.5Posted on Dark Faerie Tales. To be honest, I am not usually a fan of novellas. But Jennifer Estep’s Spartan Frost was really enjoyable. After the crushing ending of Crimson Frost, I enjoyed the glimpse into the few days of Logan’s life. Fair warning, if you have not read Crimson Frost (Book 4), o...

I really enjoyed reading from Logan's pov. I've been curious about what he's been up to since the last book, and it was interesting to see the most recent events through his eyes.

A lovely little snippet into Logan's mind as he struggles to put what happened behind him. My fave part, by far, is that thinking about Gwen makes him smile for the first time in forever.Awww.Only makes me more anxious for Midnight to come out.

Although I was disappointed the cover wasn't a vision of Logan, this is his POV of what had recently transpired in the last book, Crimson Frost. I admit I have a love/hate/love relationship with this spartan, but it's been all love lately, so I was excited to get to this novella. What I enjoyed in th...

So I'll make this short and sweet, like Spartan Frost was.I'm not much of a novella reader, but every now and then I make an exception and I'm usually happy I did. Spartan Frost definitely falls into this category. I very much like Logan and it was nice to see what had happened in Crimson Frost thro...
