Simply one of the most beautifully written love stories I've ever read. The prose is lyrical and heartbreaking in its simplicity. There are no wasted words. I loved painfully shy Derek and wild, dangerous Nick, both as boys and men, and it will be a very long time before I forget this book...if ever...
