"..and at night I feel it is more than stars looking down on me."Throughout the whole book, all I thought about was how vibrant, optimistic and kind Stargirl is. She's described as "different" by the people around her but aren't we all? And what i really really love about her is that she doesn't car...

This book is really good. When Stargirl first arrives at Mica High, everyone is shocked. She is so different from them- she is unique, original, strange, unorthodox, eccentric..... She is different. The story is narrated by Leo, one of the students at Mica High. They start to hang out and become fri...

While I would recommend giving this book to any middle or high schooler so they can soak up its great message it was a little simplistic for me.

I think that before the John Greens and Looking for Alaska and what-not, Jerry Spinelli and Stargirl were there. I'm surprised they haven't made a movie for this yet. It's the most basic and simplest story about going against the flow, and of trying to look at things with awe and wonder. We've seen ...

Hilary Kimble was right about stargirl; she can not be real. It was just a tale about a freckled teenager, she posessed no super power but infinite goodness. She was not just unique, she would be if her distinctiveness from a normal teenager was just wearing weird clothes, going desert to medidate a...
