A small group of humans and one intelligent chimpanzee assist aboard the first dolphin spaceship. I read this book while recovering from a knee injury and had to spend a lot of time in a Jacuzzi; the perfect environment to read a novel about a spaceship filled with water.

Really deserves about 7 stars. One of the best SF novels ever written. The plucky humanrace against the old, evil, jaded universe. What could be better? Plus the science is so convincing and the characters so real.

A storyteller, not a writer. This one sparks the imagination. Pity about his recent paperweights and doorstops.
