Recently there was a series of graphic novels that totally emphasised the "graphic" part of that term entitled Crossed, Vol. 1. It was originally conceived and written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Jacen Borrows. In it, an infection did the rounds turning people into maniacs who killed and slaughtered...
I think this was a very fun book, the way that he had the zombies shooting and driving cars was unique, something no one else has done.The plot was very fun, had very little holes, lots of action, very little of the much hated drama. In the end, it was very fun, and I would read it again any day.
