Steven Richard Smith is from Akron, Ohio. He earned his MA degree in English at the University of Akron and taught high school English for nearly two decades. Prior to teaching, Smith served in law enforcement as a police officer in the South, a probation officer in the North, and an ATF Special Agent in the West. He has written four novels altogether: The Accidental Girlfriend (May 2014), King of Methamphetamine Valley (May 2014), The Trial of Agent Whitehall (December 2014), and The Honest Applicant (December 2014).
