I absolutely loved, loved this book! It really made me have a greater appreciation for the power of the mind and the impact it has on one's life when it doesn't function to its full capacity. It also showed me different levels of family, and how relationships can change over time. A key thing to ...

This book was recommended to me by my doctor to help me to understand what is happening to my Dad. I found the book moving and scary at the same time. I feel I understand my "Still Dad" a lot better now.

To think that something this awful happens to a person so healthy and full of life is the saddest thing. Quite the eye opener. I never realize...

Mother, wife, esteemed Harvard Professor, Research Analyst, Thesis Advisor-- all around very important woman, busy and in full control of her life. Slowly, instances begin to pop up that seem strange and d...

I wish I could figure out how to give 1/2 stars as I think this gets more than 4 but slightly less than 5. Anyway, what a fantastic story and so interesting to see the thoughts of someone suffering from a degenerative disease like Alzheimer's. I think it can also help others be more compassionate an...

Alice is a Harvard professor, published author, and nationally respected expert in her field of study. Early-onset Alzheimer's disease nails her in mid-career and is especially devastating to her self-esteem because so much of her identity is wrapped up in her intellectual gifts and stellar memory....
