I think this was the book I was trying to read when I developed morning sickness and stopped reading last year, and I finally got back to it. Basically, London teenager Gemma is abducted and stolen away to an Australian desert and develops a kind of queasy kinship with her kidnapper. I liked this le...
When I read the summary of this book, i assumed it would be a horrendous story... a story of rape, anger, possible murder, i'm not entirely sure. But it wasn't, it felt so real, it felt confusing and just... wrong. I loved the description of all the things that the kidnapper did, of the nicer side of...
I don't really know how to write a review for this book. My thoughts and feelings are too tangled up, and I'm really conflicted towards this. Its changed my perspective on the city, that's for sure, and it blurred the lines between right and wrong and I'm not sure how I feel or what I think.

Stolen: A Letter to My Captor is a thrilling read and one that I greatly enjoyed. In an airport one day in August, Gemma is kidnapped. Held captive in the middle of nowhere, she has two options: survive until she can find a way to escape or give up and face an endless life of torture.Stolen deals wit...
My Rating: 4.0 Stolen. I've heard so many good things about Stolen and the summary certainly captured my attention. I'm a huge fan of Criminal Minds and when I heard that Stolen was about a girl who was kidnapped, I just knew I had to get my hands on it, especially after watching countless episodes ...

Even though she felt like something was off, she sits down with him and this leads to the rest of the story. Ty ends up getting her out of Bangkok and to some desert area in Australia. The author...
