I just added this to my DNF shelf. I tried and tried. I was interested in the concept of a gargoyle for a hero. This was not good, though. Melanie is the heroine. Her inner dialogue made her seem as if she were 12. Vaughn is the hero and he was almost as bad. I just could not finish.
