I really loved that Coyote was a good guy in this one (even if he was a bit of a perv!) The world that Allyson James has created with this book is different from any other book. Paranormal creatures come from the Beneath, one of the worlds below the one we are at (that reminds me of Norse mythology,...

A quick and enjoyable read! The only issue I had with Nash Jones, he's such a prick and his attitude spoilt the story a little.

I really enjoyed this series starter. I've read Jennifer Ashley's historical romances but this is the first I've read of her paranormal/UF books as Allyson James. Like many first series books it took a little while to find its feet but once it got going I was totally wrapped up in Janet, her battl...

It was a good book. I really liked the characters, epsecially Mick and Maya. Janet is a great heroine. She has issues and that makes her all the more relatable. It was a pretty fast read and I couldn't put it down. Looking forward to Firewalker.

This reader's personal opinion, ©2012, all rights reserved.* Book description on this site accurate. The most accurate review I can give this book is that I am now immediately starting the followup, Firewalker. Some of the other reviews seem to really rant or rave; I didn't get the extreme reaction...

All I can say, is thank God for buddy reads. I never would have finished this book, if Ashleigh hadn't been with me on this horrid ride.We both thought this would be a good story:1 -- This author is Jennifer Ashley in disguise [never read her, but heard good stuff].2 -- You have a hot Native America...

I read a short story in the anthology Hexed and knew I wanted more, and this does no happen often. So I bought book 1 in this series and what I felt in that short story rang true. It was a good book.It does say it is pnr, but I do not know, it feels like more. These days I think they are so many pnr...

I had a hard time rating this book. I really liked the mystery and the characters. Mick and Coyote are my favorites. Both stole the story from the main character Janet (IMHO) she became predictable towards the end. I have hope for her in the next book, she started out very intriguing. The mystery, w...

I hate Nash. I loathe this bigoted mo-fo. He's a null alright. I want to make him completely not exist, the f-ing a-hole. I can't believe he's a cop. With cop's like this, no wonder people don't trust law enforcement personnel. He gives cops a bad name. He runs hot and cold. I despise this m...
