This book was a surprise for me. I read a lot of MM but I have never read one with a self proclaimed flamer as a main character. Cole was amazing and hilarious and Jonathan was very realistic. Their relationship had a progression that felt very natural. I had been worried after reading the last book...

3.5 StarsThe best part of this book was Cole. I want to get to know him more and go shopping with him. He's flamboyant and he could be a bit pretentious but he would never consider changing for anyone. I could see why Jonathan got irritated with him at times but I loved his attitude and the fact ...

I first read this book back in 2011 and enjoyed it immensely. I think it's a wonderful story and would encourage everyone to read it.That said, I bought the audiobook and that is a major letdown, if I hadn't read the book, think t would be almost impossible to really follow this story, Cole and Jon...

I can't decide if I like this the same or more as the others. It was different, uhg but that last scene/reunion definitely had me tearing up. Cole was a little similar to Angelo from [b:A to Z|7743209|A to Z (Coda Books, #2)|Marie Sexton|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1266359465s/7743209.jpg|1743670...

This book is right up there on my "most favourite books of all time" list! Yes, there are definitely humorous moments but, for me, there was a deep poignancy throughout that had me leaking tears. Gah - Cole! *sniffle* Love, love, love him.

Most of what I want to say has already been said by others who liked this book. I actually read it out of order, after Promises and I think I'm glad I did.I didn't get to see the characters in their worst light. They were prickly enough as it was. Aves calls Cole a "Porcupine" and it is an apt descr...

Sometimes I can be tough for me to get into books written in the first person narrative. Being as nosy as I am I really like to get into both main character's heads. Marie Sexton does a very good job of letting us see Cole through Jonathan's eyes and through emails from Cole to his good friend at t...

I usually don't read contemporary romance - I prefer fantasy or paranormal romance - but this book, I just couldn't help but adore. Although I'm a woman, it was very easy for me to empathise with Jon, and together with him, I fell in love with Cole. The book was exciting and enthralling, made me lau...

good sweet creative. the beginning was almost too convincing of their incompatibilty, i would have liked a deeper glimpse into coles pain, but i also like the last minute reveal, turn around. i liked the growthinthecharacters and the humor. good. sweet. requires patience.

This book... This book!! I know most of my GR friends loved it but it kept grating on my nerves.First of all, the people in this story kept blushing: "I felt myself blush," "I felt myself blush again," "I still saw the blush that had appeared on his cheeks," "I stammered, feeling myself blush," "I f...
