I know a lot of people love this book and I admit it is well written but it just wasn't for me. My main problems with it are that I dislike the hero and don't really care what happens to him and more importantly I couldn't stomach all the graphic violence. A mixed bag of stories in this, I really enjoyed the first one, Wishful Thinking by Jane Feather, Rosie Belmont passes herself off as male to be respected by the scientific community and problems arise when a fellow scientist visits to discuss her theories. Nice light story, I think she has expanded...
Just not my thing. I never got a handle on the tone - it was almost lite a la Julie Garwood (especially with the heroine, oy), but then got all angsty, but there was lots of banter, but it was almost too light after the rough treatment.
I didn't expect to like this book as well as I did. The H did some awful things but the groveling redeemed him at least a little. If the horrible thigs occurred under different circumstances, it wouldn't have been enough. Even during the darker moments, there were sub plots that kept the story ba...
The story isn't bad but Robinson's writing style isn't fitting for me. I checked my nails more times than she used vowels.
