This is a book set in future not so far from the present where oil is severely running out and due to the chain of events that follow the lives of the residents of Sage Valley and Marietta must change in order to survive. The story follows the lives of three teens. Tom, a football player from an ave...

This book had a lot of potential. I really enjoyed the premise of the book, where the world's oil is depleting. Overall, I was disappointed with the book. I felt that it focused too much on juvenile love triangles and not enough on the plot.

2.5 stars. A retelling of "Anastasia" which, while not a fairytale, is a great story. One Book Away From an Episode of Hoarders
I liked this book. The setting seemed very realistic and most of the actions of the characters did as well. If half stars were possible, I'd give it a 3.5 because I thought the end wrapped up a little too nicely. Apparently, my faith in mankind is not as strong as the authors.
