If you haven't yet discovered The Goddess Girls Series, allow me to introduce you. This wonderful set of books is all about mixing classic mythology with modern day girls and guys. Trust me, it's a ton of fun to read! Although these books are slated for Middle Graders, I see no reason why older aged...

4 starsVery cute read! Learn why Medusa is so mean! Not really, but being socially awkward makes it hard for her to make friends. It's even harder with snakes for hair. Will she ever catch handsome, blue Poseidon's eye? What's a green girl with a head full of snakes to do? Try to scheme her way...

It was a cute story. My biggest problem was there was really no true mythology to the book. It would have been cool if everyone was a teenager or teachers at the academy. The premiss of the story was empowering to girls. I'm only giving it three stars because my daughter really liked the story.

Super cute! Not my favorite, I think mostly because Aphrodite is a little too girlish for my taste, but I see young girls loving her! More soon.

This was so adorable and a really cute way to introduce the myths to kids. Persephone is one of my favorites and I was not let down by this hip teeniebopper retelling as I might have been.

*This review is based on a copy of the book I won through Goodreads FirstReads Giveaways.* A very cute concept! A new series of children's books based on a modernized version of Greek Mythology in which many gods and goddesses are seen as middle school students at Mount Olympus Academy. Well w...
