Quick review for a very sluggish read (on my part, even if it only took me a day, realistically speaking). I honestly didn't like "The Treatment" much at all, but I'm giving it credit for some moments that were harrowing enough for the characters to invest me in pursuing it to the end. The problem i...
I have been dying to read this book so when I saw my library had it I knew I had to get my hands on it. I really enjoyed this story being told. It is divided into three parts Uncomfortably Numb this is where we meet Sloane, James and Miller. We get insight to the first person being taken by a handl...
Quick review for a somewhat quick read. I'm so conflicted reflecting on this book because there were quite a number of good ideas that I think Young had in parallels drawn in the book, but the execution and implication of many of those assertions seemed to fall by the wayside and actually bothered t...

They went through so much already and it doesn't stop here, they go through so much more.At least I feel like we got som...
Quick review for a somewhat quick read. "Hotel Ruby" sounded like a book that was right up my alley, so I decided to pick this up despite this book having a very wide reaction on Goodreads. My end reaction is that this was just an okay read, but largely forgettable. I'm glad I took the time to read...

If you take the whimsical feeling you get when you staying an enchanting hotel, and mix it with a tragic and haunting tale, you have Hotel Ruby's story. This was both fun and dark making it a stellar read!
This book! OMG this book! I loved this book with such an intense passion, you have no idea! Truth be told, I didn’t even have this book on my radar. I had no idea that it was even a thing, and thank the book gods that it was a thing! When they say that this is “a thrilling, edge of your seat st...
I really enjoyed this book! I liked how everything worked towards the ending. I also liked how everything worked out with her friendship and her boyfriend. This book was an eye opener for me. I know how big this epidemic is and I am glad that someone is writing about it.
