Nicole appeared hard and uncompromising in the first book. Thankfully we get to understand her better in this one. She had a lot of responsibility put on her from a young age, which makes her serious on the surface. But she really has a lot of love and caring for others.
I quite enjoyed this book, it was a sweet story about love and family. I found the behavior of football coach Hawk a little grating after a while and it's hard for me to see any woman forgiving that level of stupidity but that's a small thing and the book was still worth the effort.
I liked this story.The hero actively pursuing the heroine.The heroine trying to be aloof and ending up becoming part of the high school football family, helping and taking care of teenagers and getting involved with the ex-NFL player-turned-high-school-football-coach.I love it when stories have humo...
