When it comes to reading I have fall back books for those times where I don’t want to read, those are vampires…and mythology. So since I’ve been in a slump I decided it was time for another mythology read to help me through a readathon.Sweet Venom is a rather neat spin on the the tale of Medusa and ...

Free e-book today Sept. 25. I'm a little hesitant about paranormal YA (does no one write for adults anymore?) but willing to test the waters with a free book.

So, I like the idea of this theory, but the book itself was somewhat anti-climatic. It felt like a really big to be continued. No massive cliff hanger, but I think this is just one of those books where it's better to go straight from book 1 to book 2 so you don't lose any momentum.

Very good book! Really enjoyed the premise of the book. The characters are intriguing and I can't wait to read more about them. Was a little said at the ending and the knowledge I have to wait for the next book to get any real information on the mysterious changes to the rules.

rating: 3.5originally posted: http://newborrowedused.blogspot.com/2012/02/book-review-sweet-venom.htmlMy Thoughts: I enjoyed this book right up until Greer entered the story. Gretchen and Grace's relationship seemed to be going in the right direction and worked for both of them. I was (still am) int...
