In the first of this series, you met and learned about Calvin, a member of a swim team. He had a deep crush on two of his teammates – Harry and Albert – with whom he eventually developed meaningful, romantic relationships, and with whom he became a proud, confident teammate with. Now, Calvin was a well-established member of the swim team, but his coaches start to put into question his skills as a swimmer. The main coach points out that the rest of the team has been working as just that – a team – while Calvin seemed focus on being an individual swimmer, focused on honing only his individual skills. As a result, the coach challenges Calvin to prove to him and the other coaches that Calvin truly deserves his spot on the team and that he can be a winner for the team. If he doesn’t, he’ll lose his much coveted varsity spot. Realizing his greatest fears from all this, Harry and Albert try to give him the confidence and know how he needs to face his coaches’ challenge to better himself for the good of the team in order to help the team win.
