Really Joe Gazzam?? Bully much? (Sadly, how many reviewers back off from the threats and the drama....)

Here is the review in question
 https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

And here is the  Amazon review: http://www.amazon.com/review/RT2T9UUS...;
(If you go on Amazon.co.uk, you'll see that it's a Verified Purchase.)

So after he posted this (I live in the UK so I'm 5 hours ahead of US time) and then when I woke up, I saw that I had a new message on Goodreads from Joe himself. This is what he sent me:

he is also slamming the guy on twitter

. Here's the conversation he started:

https://twitter.com/JOE_GAZZAM/status/434831969130536961

Part of my message from Gavin:

So he says it's cyber-bullying first because I put up a negative review, which is so not fair, I downloaded the book and didn't like it. Am I not allowed to post my thoughts? Then he calls me creepy? Then he lies to the person he is talking to about "ignoring it and not starting a war" when at the same time he posted that tweet he sent me the message on Goodreads threatening a lawsuit. And then calls me a nut job! On a separate tweet he tells his followers to flag 1-star reviews as abuse and "super religious". Like seriously, is he being serious?

Update to Post about Riley Hill review of her book

The author does say in her book review on goodreads that no 1-star reviewer purchased her book (Naked Deep) and that it was never offered for free anywhere.

[edited after original posting to add this screenshot of now removed author review that was on all her books in print:]

Which would, of course, explain some of the recent upsets.

I have no idea who is telling the truth.  But these screenshots confused me (of course just being on the internet does not make it true):

Well, if mocking bully victims doesn't boost your sales or support, try mocking gangbang victims

Just report this post on facebook for being inappropriate, doesn't belong in facebook, other, because it mocks bully and rape victims.  (Plus a bit odd since at time posted author had a whopping six amazon reviewers with only one a 1-star and the others all 4-5 stars all of which appeared mirrored on goodreads or vice versa..)

Photo if you don't want to see on facebook:

LOL! Author complains they did not give access to their published books

(Not talking about anyone plagiarizing or even excerpting from book text; talking about the book having product/data pages showing bookcover and book description.)

In a screenshot shared by another poster, an author publishes books on amazon which also puts them in the isbn system then doesn't understand that sites cataloguing or selling books by isbn (particularly sites getting a data feed from amazon) has their book product descriptions.  "...did NOT grant them access to my books.  Or, if I did inadvertently, I hereby rescind it..."

Dude ... Don't publish it; don't get an isbn, asin, EAN,  bnid, kobo I'd or any other bookseller id.  Do not distribute it on any of the online or brick and mortar booksellers.  Keep it to yourself to hand out personally or only sale on your own or your publisher's website.
