A thrilling dark romance
Blaire - Anita Gray

*Book given by the author for an honest review.*

Thanks to books like this, I love dark romances more every day.

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. Intense, alluring and provocative, as we travel through Blaire's life as Maksim's property and her relationship with Charlie. This triangle keeps you reading (I didn't finished the book the same day I started because I didn't had enough time to do it) and makes you ask for more. Great scenes and fluid transitions between them (though I found it a bit slow in the middle of the story, the only reason I didn't gave it 5 stars), Blaire is a good choice for dark romance lovers. Highly recommended.

Book Review For: 'Keeper' by Robin Lovett
Keeper: A Dark Captive Romance (Dark Romance Trilogy) - Robin Lovett

'Keeper' by Robin Lovett is book Three in The "Dark" series. This is the story of Chase and Layla. I have read the other books and I do think you can make this a standalone book if you choose to do so. But with that said I really think you would enjoy the book more if you do read all the books. It's been a great Dark Romance Series from the start.
Layla is looking to get Chase's story on what happened a few years back..to get the answers that they need. Layla is also a friend of Chase's half-sister. To get to Chase she had to go into the mountains where few go.
Chase has isolated himself into the mountains and likes it that way. Him and a neighbor make sure to scare off any people or tourist who try to come up their mountain. When he see Layla trying to make it up he first feels a protective desire for her but knows he needs to scare her off. But she isn't going anywhere she tells him.
It was fun watching these to come together and the story-line drama was good too.

Review: Keeping Her: A Dark Romance by Angela Snyder
Keeping Her: A Dark Romance (Keep Me Series Book 1) - Angela Snyder

What a roller coaster of emotions! One moment I was hating the characters, the next I was sympathizing with them, the next I was in love, and before I knew it was exasperated and then back in love. Crazy stuff!

Now, I feel the most important thing I need to point out is that this is a dark romance and that there are some serious **** TRIGGER ISSUES **** that may make some readers uncomfortable so read with caution.

The story, which was narrated in first POV by various characters, gave me that feeling of intense passion and angst. I think the author made a good job by portraying Lucian with so many emotional and character flaws, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to overlook his numerous acts of possessiveness and cruelty, even after a very important truth is uncovered and he has no reason to keep acting that way. Adeline is the sweet and innocent girl that captures his attention in a way that no one thought possible. And when I say innocent, I really mean it, and for good reasons too. Odd thing was that it was hard for me to connect with and understand her character but I think that was because of everything that happened in her previous life and her current situation. I just couldn’t relate to her in any feasible way.

The story has a good pace and flow although I found the characters talking too much to themselves and at times I found their inner dialogue a bit repetitive. However one thing I liked a lot was that even though Adeline started as a victim, she never behaved as one and that made her a more realistic character.

On a side note, I was totally blindsided by what happened towards end and the cliffhanger. It’s a good thing we don’t have to wait too long how this story ends as the next installment will be out in only a couple of months.

I received this book from the author at no cost to me and I volunteered to read it; this is my honest opinion and given without any influence by the author or publisher.

'Closer' By M. C. Vann
Closer (A Dark Romance, Book 1): The Closer Trilogy - M.C. Vann

'Closer' By M. C. Vann is book One in the " Closer Trilogy" . This starts the story of Ally and Henry.
Ally accidental meet Henry at a flower show and then later back in her home town.
Ally is a complete opposite of Henry. Where is a innocent working girl and Henry is any but that. Ally knows she should stay away from Henry but that doesn't stop her from getting closer to him.
This book starts off a little slow for me but it does pick up. Also note that this book ends so that the next book can pick up where this seem to leave us.
Overall liked the book and hope to see the other book out soon.

Killing June May Bridges
Killing June: A Dark Romance (Saved By Sin) - May Bridges

4.5 Stars
'Killing June' by May Bridges is the First book in the "Saved by Sin" series. This is the story of Alex (June) and Cade. This is not your everyday romance and has some dark tones to it. Cade isn't your usually white Knight but he is for Alex. Cade is allot of things and one is a gun for hire....he is also a very dominate and protective person. Alex is a professional business women by day with a job as she says has health insurance and a 401K plan. But by night her 'friend' Robert has her playing Ms. June a dominatrix who has business clients...although she doesn't actually has sex with them they are after her for sexual gratification. Alex has split her life into two where she is Alex and then Ms. June but that slowly starts coming to an end with her meeting Cade. Cade sees what Robert is doing to Alex even though it isn't clear at first to her and Robert is letting Ms. June go.
This was a hot exciting read for sure!
