I've always wondered what other people do in regards to reading reviews before reading a book. Right now I try not to read other people's reviews before diving into a book (except reviews by people I follow). Before when I used to read some reviews by people before I read the book I found that those reviews were affecting the way I read the book. I started to see the book how the reviewer saw the book and didn't come into reading the book with a clean slate and form my own opinions of it. Finally I just decided to read the synopsis of the book and just barely glance at the reviews of it. What do you do before you read a book, do you read the reviews or not?
