Fatally Flaky
Fatally Flaky - Diane Mott Davidson,Barbara Rosenblat

Diane Mott Davidson and Barbara Rosenblat have been a part of my life for a long time, however I some how have failed to listen to the last 3 books. So to finish my popsugar reading challenge I picked up one of those three.

As for the book, the mystery wasn't to hard to figure out.  At all. Like Neon Sign obvious, at least that's how I found it. However I still really like these characters and the warm fuzzy feelings I get listening to these books, even if this one has a crazy bridezilla as one of the main characters.

Also Barbara Rosenblat is an amazing narrator so, there is that.

Delivering Happiness: A Path to Profits, Passion, and Purpose - Tony Hsieh

I have 2 days, and need to finish two books.  I'm feeling the time crunch big time here. I have an audiobook (Fatally Flaky) and a physical book(Delivering Happiness). So at least I can get through most if not all of the audiobook while I'm at work. As for the physical book, it's one that I had to read for a business class in college that I didn't finish and remember skimming before class on more than one occasion.  Also I found the receipt from ordering my wedding dress moonlighting as a bookmark in it. Last month was my 5 year anniversary, so clearly I haven't picked this up in quite a while.

Once I get through these two I'll have finished a book that takes place in your hometown and a book you where suppose to read in school and didn't, and I will be done with this challenge.

Fatally Flaky (Goldy Bear Culinary Mystery, Book 15) - Diane Mott Davidson

Some of the surprises this year were wonderful. There were books that I have long been leery of that I found were fantastic. I found Series I wish either existed when I was young or I'd followed from the beginning. And I found this wonderful site called Booklikes that lets me review my books but also just share my thoughts, converse with fellow book lovers, and generally be my space on the internet.

*The Gush*

Wow. This was a ride and no mistake. I love Boyd showing up again and I LOVED Goldy's godfather Jack, I wish we'd met him sooner. This is a crazy book and a crazy mystery. Some of the things in this story, such as a dropped platter of fruit cocktail causing a policeman to wonder about a few things, were very well set up and you could practically see it happen in front of your eyes. I have to say this was close to the top of my favorites for this series.

*The Rant*

Okay, when Goldy dropped the stuff in the hot spring did anyone else just KNOW she'd end up face first in that by the end of the book. Cause I really did .

*Conclusion*

Another great book and definitely one of my top favs!

Fatally Flaky (Culinary Mystery Series #15)
Fatally Flaky (Goldy Bear Culinary Mystery, Book 15) - Diane Mott Davidson My mom gave me this book as a birthday present (she said it looked like a book that I would like but I suspect she wanted to read it herself). This is the only book of this series that I have read and having said that I found that it was easy to understand what was going on and I don't feel like I missed out on anything.Goldy Schulz is a character that is easy to relate to and is very likeable. I found myself thinking the same thoughts as her (especially about how annoying Billie Attenborough was). I didn't have much of a hard time figuring out who committed the murders in this book and why they did it but I found that I didn't lose any interest in the book because of it.I would recommend this book, but just don't read it on an empty stomach because it will make you starving.
