The Case Study of Vanitas, Vol. 1
The Case Study of Vanitas, Vol. 1 - Jun Mochizuki It was going so good and then right at the end... Vanitas decides to sexually assault a woman (with a kiss) who is supposed to of course be super strong and of course she doesn't fight back because... plot and when she tells him to fuck off he's all "she loves me". No.. fuck that rape culture shit.

Pandora Hearts: Vol 5
Pandora Hearts: Vol 5 - Jun Mochizuki So we spend the entire book getting out of Chesire Cat's dimension only to actually have the characters TELL US what all the confusing stuff is about. I mean is it just me or does Black Butler do a good job of not having a ton of stuff going on that you understand it, VS THIS which has 4 families, all of them that hate each other or such and that the names are important and stuff happened 100 years ago and it's just a confusing mess that keeps pushing new characters THAT LOOK ALIKE at you. THEN doesn't even really go on to explain anything... until the end.

Pandora Hearts, Vol. 03
Pandora Hearts, Vol. 03 - Jun Mochizuki This series is still dropping names all over the place like the mean something, but they aren't really going to explain anything so EVERYTHING remains all confusing. Continuing to also rain characters down from the sky and explain none of them.

Baseball Saved Us
Baseball Saved Us - Dom Lee,Ken Mochizuki

This felt like it wanted to be two books. I wish it either concentrated more singularly on the nameless protagonist or on the role that baseball played in camp. Also the pitcher and the guard in the book both looked Asian to me. I'm not sure if that was on purpose since the pitcher is explicitly not Asian and I'd guess the guard is also supposed to be white? It's not a terrible book, but it's probably best read with at least a little background knowledge of camp.
