Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me
Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me - Mariko Tamaki,Rosemary Valero-O'Connell

This was a such an honest and unsentimental look at toxic relationships and young love, and how they can consume you if you aren't careful. It made my heart ache, but it was also sweet. The messages and lessons this book brings to light are important ones, especially for readers who are newly navigating relationships. I appreciated how universal the story was while simultaneously being a distinctly queer love story. The diversity in this book made my heart happy. The thing I enjoyed the most is probably the art though. The use of color, detail, negative space, and the way the panels are arranged on the page were absolutely wonderful. The art style was warm, emotional, and lovely to look at. I'm glad I picked this one up and heartily recommend it.

So I am kind of obsessed with this series.

I read the first one last week and liked it well enough. After reading this one, I found I liked it a little better than the first. The stories were more interesting to me and seemed more well-developed.

This is a fun collection of comics featuring all your favorite Adventure Time Characters. I makes me want to just binge-watch the show for the rest of my life (at least more than I already want to). Funny, silly, epic, and amazing, this collection has got it all.

My favorite comics included Zachary Sterling's "Cake Bakes" because it was absolutely adorable, Shaenon K. Garrity and Roger Langridge's "The Princess Megathalon" because everything about it was amazing, and Riley Rossmo's "Better Diet" because packing so much awesome into one page is
a true feat. I also really liked the art style of Kevin Jay Stanton's "Gunter the Hero".

Great collection and I am loving this series so far.

Book review: Laura dean keeps breaking up with me
Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up with Me - Mariko Tamaki,Rosemary Valero-O'Connell

** spoiler alert ** May 14-14

Laura Dean, the most popular girl in high school, was Frederica Riley's dream girl: charming, confident, and SO cute. There's just one problem: Laura Dean is maybe not the greatest girlfriend.

Reeling from her latest break up, Freddy's best friend, Doodle, introduces her to the Seek-Her, a mysterious medium, who leaves Freddy some cryptic parting words: break up with her. But Laura Dean keeps coming back, and as their relationship spirals further out of her control, Freddy has to wonder if it's really Laura Dean that's the problem. Maybe it's Freddy, who is rapidly losing her friends, including Doodle, who needs her now more than ever. Fortunately for Freddy, there are new friends, and the insight of advice columnists like Anna Vice to help her through being a teenager in love.

Review : Read this in one sitting the art is freaking beautiful and so is the cover . Freddy has been dating a popular girl name Laura dean but she keeps breaking up with freddy so after the last break up her friend doodle told her to go to this psychic and the psychic told her she has to break up with Laura Dean so they get back together and Laura dean she is a shit girlfriend and mostly used freddy . Freddy is a bad friend to doodle . When she finally talks to doodle she finds out doodle is pregnant and she slept with a married man she is going to get an abortion so freddy agrees to go to the appointment with her . Laura dean invites freddy to her birthday party on the same day and freddy says she cant go cause she has something important and on the day Laura dean texts her emergency so freddy runs over except it wasnt an emergency and she's just a bitch. Freddy goes to the appointment with doodle and is there for her and she finally breaks up with Laura dean
