Cannibal Orgy
Cannibal Orgy - Eric Blood

Not bad, but not the best writing out there either. I could tell within the first few pages that this could've used another proofread, especially when it comes to punctuation. The author seems not to know that questions in dialogue end with a question mark and not a comma or period.

All the characters here were pretty flat and one-dimensional, and seem driven solely by sex, even those not infected with the disease. The women were objectified the most, differentiated by breast size every time one was introduced. But the treatment of the men wasn't much better either.

All that aside, there were some redeemable qualities of the story. The pacing was good, and it was an interesting enough premise to keep me reading. The action at the climax of the story flowed pretty nicely. Also, there were some passages that had me equally aroused and disgusted at the same time, so good job on that, I guess? I mean, that's gotta take some skill.

Wallflower at the Orgy by Nora Ephron $1.99
Wallflower at the Orgy - Nora Ephron

From her Academy Award—nominated screenplays to her bestselling fiction and essays, Nora Ephron is one of America’s most gifted, prolific, and versatile writers. In this classic collection of magazine articles, Ephron does what she does best: embrace American culture with love, cynicism, and unmatched wit. From tracking down the beginnings of the self-help movement to dressing down the fashion world’s most powerful publication to capturing a glimpse of a legendary movie in the making, these timeless pieces tap into our enduring obsessions with celebrity, food, romance, clothes, entertainment, and sex. Whether casting her ingenious eye on renowned director Mike Nichols, Cosmopolitan magazine founder Helen Gurley Brown—or herself, as she chronicles her own beauty makeover—Ephron deftly weaves her journalistic skill with the intimate style of an essayist and the incomparable talent of a great storyteller.

NAUGHTINESS IS CONTAGIOUS by C. R. Lemon
Naughtiness is Contagious, An Orgy of Er... Naughtiness is Contagious, An Orgy of Erotic Poetry - C. R. Lemons
A book of erotic poetry dealing with submission and domination. I enjoyed the feeling invoked by the poems. I especially liked Confession, Know Your Place, Subspace, To My Paris Dom, Good Boy, and Muse. I liked how photographs were interspersed through the book with the poems overlaid on them. Fun read!

Fantastic Orgy
Fantastic Orgy - Carlton Mellick III honestly, all of my mellick reviews are more or less the same thing: his world building skills are second-to-none, he pays close attention to the diversity of his cast without making it feel like an afterschool special, and all of his characters seem to pop right out at you, even tiny, irrelevant background characters. i love his books, i love his girls. i love him. there you go.
