"Ghetto Roulette" by Dale Ridley

My Thoughts....

This novel ..a urban fiction suspenseful story was one moving read that will keep you turning the pages till the end. From the characters Sasha, Jeana, Mercury, Marissa and all the other main and secondary ones with all of there different traits and personalities. All I can say is that this author really knows how to deliver to the reader a read that will be very detailed with a little bit of it all...not to leave out the sexual scenes and one fast moving story. Hopefully Jasmine and Asia will be safe with all they have to go through. Now, I know you are probably asking who they are...well, to find out you must pick up 'Ghetto Roulette' to see just what all has gone on and what Jasmine and Asia has to do with this story. Be ready with the twist and turns that will keep your interest in the read as it flows so well with the title 'Ghetto Roulette.' All I can say to get a real understanding of this novel the reader will have to pick up this good read to see what all will be going on in this read and in the end beware you will be left with a cliff hanger...and you will have to pick up this author next series to get the continuation of this story in 'Ghetto Roulette 2.'

Humankind’s best days lie ahead debate with Steve Pinker and Alain De Botton
The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined - Steven Pinker
The Blank Slate: The Modern Denial of Human Nature - Steven Pinker
The Origins of Virtue: Human Instincts and the Evolution of Cooperation - Matt Ridley
On Love - Alain de Botton
The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference - Malcolm Gladwell

Great debate.

Steven Pinker is brilliant.

Matt Ridley is witty.

Alain de Botton and Malcolm Gladwell are both lack of substance when deal with fact, data and science.

So glad I didn't waste any time reading books from Alain De Botton and Malcolm Gladwell.

The debate is highly entertaining. So, search for it in the link. If it is not link to the right one, search for it. It is worth the time.

Of course, Steven Pinker side won.

The Viscount's Christmas Temptation
The Viscount's Christmas Temptation - Erica Ridley

Book Description...

"Certain individuals might consider Lady Amelia Pembroke a managing sort of female, but truly, most people would be lost without her help. Why, the latest on-dit is that rakish Viscount Sheffield is canceling the fête of the year because he hasn't time for silly soirees. He doesn't need time—he needs her!

When a flash of lightning destroys the venue for his family's annual Christmas ball, Lord Benedict Sheffield intends to enjoy a relaxing holiday for once. But after twelve days of beguiling Lady Amelia's guerrilla tactics, he's up to his cravat with tinsel . . . and tumbling head over heels in love."

What I enjoyed about the read.....

I liked this historical romantic novella which was this author's 'The Dukes of War 0.5' series. We find Lady Amelia Pembroke all involved with her brothers estate but now that she is almost thirty she thinks it is time for her to find herself an husband. I love how this author presents it all to the reader. Poor Lord Benedict Sheffield didn't know what to think of Lady Amelia's arranging his 'annual Sheffield Ball' but he would soon find out. In the end will Lady Amelia learn that there is more to life than the daily fixed schedule and have some fun in her life with love and some laughter. Will Lord Sheffield be the one to do this? I don't want to give any of this away but to say you must pick up this good read to see how this author will bring it all out to the reader. It will be quite interesting and very captivating as you read through this good story.

If you are looking for a good charming loving read you have come to the right place for "The Viscount's Christmas" will give it all to you and more leaving you wanting the next series....
The Earl's Defiant Wallflower (The Duke of War #1).
