Significance
Significance - Shelly Crane re-read 1/29/2016
... I kind of did not like this book.. It was so incredibly corny. I like the whole story line. It is an interesting concept but the dialogue.. oh my god. Was it really just a couple years ago that I read this and I loved it. I cringed the whole time. Not only was it so freaking cheesy but everything was repeated multiple times. Like I'm talking 5 or 6 times. They met at a stop light... And I really wish I would have counted how many times either one of them said how glad they were that they were there that day. It was at least 5 in the first half of the book and then in the end it is thrown in there again. And then the whole imprinting thing was explained a lot as well. I kind of feel like Maggie was an idiot. She was extremely sweet but I don't think she was all that smart. She was also so very self conscious. 75.63% of the book was Caleb reassuring her that he wanted to be with her. Um hello you have freaking imprinted! You are his SOULMATE! Also you can read his flipping mind. You know exactly what the guy is thinking. You would know if he didn't want you. Annoying.

"Jealousy is when you want something you can't have, something that doesn't belong to you. Being protective is defending what's yours." He leaned in, his hand closing around my jaw as his nose skimmed mine. "And you better believe that I'll be protecting what's mine..."

Excellent Story and Characters
Significance - Shelly Crane

Maggie's mom had walked out on her and her dad and nothing was the same. On graduation day, Kyla asked Maggie out and she said yes. Maggie ended up saving Kyle's cousin Caleb. When he touched her hand, she felt a jolt and had a vision.

I totally enjoyed this story. I couldn't put it down. I love all that Maggie went through and came out the other end with a happiness beyond her imagination, as well as Caleb. I loved the overall story and plot and of course the characters. I highly recommend.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review

Significance (A Significance Novel)
Significance (A Significance Novel) - Shelly Crane (I received a free ecopy of the book from the publisher, Red Coat PR, via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.)

Maggie's mother ditched her and her father a year ago for no reason. Her father then retreated into himself and is absent in her life. She's been working a full time job at a diner on top of school to bring in money for her own clothes and food. After Maggie's graduation, she heads to her friend Kyle's house. On the way she meets a man named Caleb, who happens to be Kyle's cousin. He nearly gets hit by a truck and Maggie saves him. She ends up imprinting with Caleb. It turns out Kyle's family isn't human.

I would say that the one thing that bothered me was the pacing. Some parts seemed too slow while others seemed too quick.

I enjoyed the chemistry between Maggie and Caleb. I am normally not a fan of insta-love, but I liked this one. Maggie saved his life and now she becomes his soulmate. Again, I enjoyed the romance in this book.

This book reminded me of Twilight and also Prince of Wolves that I just finished reading. I can't wait to see where this story goes!
