Top Secret Twenty One
Top Secret Twenty-One - Janet Evanovich

By Janet Evanovich

Series: Stephanie Plum Novel #21
ISBN-13: 9780345542922
Publisher: Random House Publishing Group
Publication date: 6/17/2014
Pages: 320
Format: Audio
My Rating: 4 Stars

TOP SECRET TWENTY-ONE, another Winner by Janet Evanovich! Have read all twenty-one books in the series, and each and every one is full of action, wit, and hours of laughs.

Always fun to catch up with Stephanie, Joe, Ranger, Lulu, Grandma Mazur and the gang! Lorelei King nailed it as narrator, once again! I am ready for another movie!

Not sure about other fans—I am not so much concerned about the story, I buy the audiobook, to be entertained, and TOP SECRET TWENTY ONE does not disappoint, with the hilarious one-liners!

The Plum series is my favorite, and will always root for Joe Morelli, as the hottest cop with his faithful dog Bob. Yeah, Yeah, I know everyone wants Stephanie and Ranger action; however, he controls her with his constant tracking and Joe/Stephanie are a better match for long term. (not sure she will ever choose)

As Stephanie is in search of Jimmy Poletti things get complicated when a killer is involved—Stephanie has to use Briggs, Ranger enlists Stephanie’s help, while we get to experience the fun funeral home viewings, and Grandma Mazur’s bucket list, plus much more for a lazy day at the beach!

Notorious Nineteen
Notorious Nineteen - Janet Evanovich

I enjoyed this one more than the previous installment. No, Stephanie hasn't gotten any more competent. And she still hasn't chosen between Morelli and Ranger. But it was light and entertaining, which is all a "fluff" read really needs to be.

Notorious Nineteen (Stephanie Plum Series #19)
Notorious Nineteen - Janet Evanovich A little while ago I decided that this book would be the last of the series that I would read. While I did enjoy this book I am still happy with my decision. Since there hasn't been much change or growth in a while in this series I feel like now is the time to stop reading it.Well now that that is out of the way back to my review of this one. I enjoyed that this one had two main storylines, it helped boost my interest in the book. Tiki was one of my favorite parts of this book. I feel like Stephanie is at her best when she does weird things like talk to a wooden tiki.I was always rooting for Stephanie to finally pick Morelli. She hasn't picked anyone and I just can't keep continuing to see if she will finally decide. I will just make up my own ending of the series in which she picks Morelli.

Takedown Twenty (Stephanie Plum Series #20)
Takedown Twenty - Janet Evanovich New Blurb! Really hoping for more Ranger in this book! I can't get enough of him ;)From Evanovich's Website...New Jersey bounty hunter Stephanie Plum knows better than to mess with family. But when powerful mobster Salvatore “Uncle Sunny” Sunucchi goes on the lam in Trenton, it’s up to Stephanie to find him. Uncle Sunny is charged with murder for running over a guy (twice), and nobody wants to turn him in—not his poker buddies, not his bimbo girlfriend, not his two right-hand men, Shorty and Moe. Even Trenton’s hottest cop, Joe Morelli, has skin in the game, because—just Stephanie’s luck—the godfather is his actual godfather. And while Morelli understands that the law is the law, his old-world grandmother, Bella, is doing everything she can to throw Stephanie off the trail. It’s not just Uncle Sunny giving Stephanie the run-around. Security specialist Ranger needs her help to solve the bizarre death of a top client’s mother, a woman who happened to play bingo with Stephanie’s Grandma Mazur. Before Stephanie knows it, she’s working side by side with Ranger and Grandma at the senior center, trying to catch a killer on the loose—and the bingo balls are not rolling in their favor. With bullet holes in her car, henchmen on her tail, and a giraffe named Kevin running wild in the streets of Trenton, Stephanie will have to up her game for the ultimate takedown.
