My Last Blind Date - Susan Hatler
The heroine really won me over and I kept my fingers crossed for her that this blind date would not end in disaster. A few laughs and a little romance this is definitely a fun Valentine story!

The Boyfriend Bylaws - Susan Hatler

For any girl who seems to always find Mr. Wrong there is hope of finding Mr. Right. Relatable characters with relatable dilemmas. A very delightful read!

A Kiss for Santa (Kissed by the Bay Book 8) by Susan Hatler
A Kiss for Santa (Kissed by the Bay Book 8) - Susan Hatler

Halter is my go to for feel good, butterfly inducing, quick fire romance. So I am not ashamed to say that A Kiss for Santa checked all my boxes. Anna is a little but her heart is in the right place. Peter has a hint of Scrooge guarded a heart far more sensitive than even he realizes. A cute twist on an old classic. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT.

Forever Yours in Christmas Falls
Forever Yours in Christmas Falls (Return to Christmas Falls Book 5) - Susan Hatler
Return to Christmas Falls, Book 5

I Picked Up This Book Because: Wanted a quick read

The Characters:

Morgan Reed:
Dallas Parker:
Ruby, Conner, Mr & Mrs Reed, Ms Anna Cate

The Story:

The set up was ideal to me. Morgan is moving home to Christmas Falls to open a salon. Through an accident her salon space is rented to both her and her childhood crush Dallas Parker. This is right up my alley however the things I didn’t count on were the spectre of Morgan’s sister Grace and Morgan’s unending need to please her mother no matter how miserable it makes her. Seriously I could have kicked Morgan. It took her way too long to realize she needs to live her life for herself and shame on her mother for making her think any different. I know my thoughts are harsh as I couldn’t tell anyone how to act after losing a child or sister but I found it so annoying.

Overall it wasn’t a terrible story, just a frustrating one.

Shaken
Shaken - Susan Hatler What if you could read minds?

It was a good book, but I'm not so sure I would want to be able to read minds. But Kylie can. When she touches someone she can read their pasts, futures, and what they are thinking right at the time. It's the type of book that will keep you guessing what will happen next. Happy reading 📚
